From my point of View; we are in the middle of our third world war. The cold war laid the ground work for the conflict we see now. Strangely our governments don't appear to see our current situation as inter connected
At this time we are in a religious war and have been since the nineteen eighties. With the recruiting and training of Sunni Radicals from Saudi Arabia to fight the Russians in Afghanistan we renewed the quest for power set in motion by the British in the early twentieth century for a particular hard core group of fanatics the Wahhabi Sunni also the national religion if Saudi Arabia.
As in other world wars we chose up sides and although 9/11 was the work of Wahhabi sunni. Al-Qaeda and ISIL are all Wahhabi. We (our nation) still funnel money to these people.
Now we come to the Houthi Rebels in Yemen; The majority Yemenis are Shia Who time and time again will manage to elect A Government that reflects the Majority only the have that government replaced by interests out side that state.. The Houthi are Shia and and back the deposed government removed by Saudis.... Al-Qaeda and ISIL fighters backed by Saudis Fight the Houthi. We supply Arms to the Saudis who provide Money and Arms to the ones who Do us harm.
Who are the good guys and who are the bad guys or is this WAR for the sake of War
