Oil

A piece in the news this morning noted that OPEC will not agree to slowing production of crude oil any time soon. the way this piece is written is like whats up.
The truth be told is if they slow their production they will lose more market share as the massive new production in the us outstrips and out prices OPEC. It will be a price WAR and who will blink first....

The fault in our stars

The fault in our stars

A beautiful movie about the goodness of people and the fighting for a soaring human spirit.

But that fault is not what I Write about. At the beginning of World War Two the US was recovering from a decade long depression. During this period People had been mobilized to build a Nation, Parks, Bridges an entire infrastructure. The money for this endeavor came from the wealthy and was borrowed from the future as taxes. This was fought every step of the way by the part of our country who looked at most of our people as baggage. Why should money be spent on the rabble the immigrants the indigents….

Then glorious War came We needed, soldiers, guns, ships, airplanes a thousand times  more expensive then we had spent to build the nation… As the is case in all wars before and following

The fault is that we (all of us) feel at ease in paying for a war, bullets bombs and tanks war ships, things to be used for killing and destruction in our current area. Socialism in the general sense seems to be acceptable at war time and only then.

This said however, for the first time in American History the last two wars were paid for completely by borrowed Money.

These wars good or bad were necessary so we felt. The question is shouldn't as much effort and enthusiasm be used for the welfare of Mankind? Are we so competitive (us against them) that we allow this destructive way of life continue?

Is this the fault in our Stars…..

Is this a World WAR

A few weeks ago an Oil Tanker moored off the Texas coast fully loaded with oil from Iraq looking for An American Buyer. It Happens that this Oil was from fields held by Kurds so our Government blocked the sale of this oil as Kurds do not represent all of Iraq..
Up until that Time the Kurds Maintained a line against Isis,, Kurd fighters have kept the Sunnis at bay for all religions and creeds in their area not with our support.. I say we should buy their Oil. If we supply them weapons or even in future troops (American lives) allow at the right to use their resources from their home land…..
Could it be that we worry of Contracts on those resources or losing control of the money from this Oil…
It is about time that we realized this is not a small local war but that we need to take a look at the whole picture.
Israel is fighting Hamas who is supported by Iran who are Shia.
In Syria al Assad is backed by Iran who are Shia
Russia backs Iran who are Shia.
Most of the people in Iraq in the south Shia
Are these the Bad Guys ????
Al Qaeda, all of them are Sunnis. Trained by the US to fight the Russians.  Wahhabi
Isis, all of them are Sunnis. Trained by the US through Al Qaeda and Taliban Wahhabi
Taliban, all of them are Sunnis Trained by the US to fight the Russians. Wahhabi
Are these the bad Guys?????

Today Taliban (Sunni) are Killing Shia Men Women and Children  in Pakistan in Iraq and through out the Middle east
The Taliban, Isis, Saudi Arabia the Emirates small Kingdoms and most of the Islamic world are Sunnis the most radical ones including Saudi Arabia follow the extreme Wahhabi teachings the basis for all the Radical Zealots..

In a since this is the World we the US has created, Who can we hold accountable This may be the new World War in this case a religious one where the US and the Russians have been Pawns…

This is not what I thought we were

William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008, named for a 19th-century British abolitionist.
Originally pushed by a bipartisan coalition of lawmakers as well as by evangelical groups to combat sex trafficking, the bill gave substantial new protections to children entering the country alone who were not from Mexico or Canada by prohibiting them from being quickly sent back to their country of origin.
Instead, it required that they be given an opportunity to appear at an immigration hearing and consult with an advocate, and it recommended that they have access to counsel. It also required that they be turned over to the care of the Department of Health and Human Services, and the agency was directed to place the minor “in the least restrictive setting that is in the best interest of the child” and to explore reuniting those children with family members.
This law was signed in 2008 and is the law of the land our land … Now it has come around to bite the US in the butt but more importantly holds up a mirror for us to see how far we have fallen in not caring for those of who need this care the most…

The cry is “ Not a dime “  for the care of the Kids ( minors ) send them home… Ok so who picks up the Tab for the ticket home where ever home is for these children Who pays for the food to keep them alive while the train cars are lined up for trans port…… What is Wrong with us people have we become what we hated a few generations back?

What should the View of our nation be.....

Give up our Rights??????

In ages past small fiefdoms existed within a larger Kingdom. The lord of the fief had total say over the lives of his surfs. Of course with the new age on us, the age of the Rights of Men, all men being equal and All, these arrangements no longer exist….( Or Do they )

To day the Highest Courts in our Country have said that the corporations (fiefdoms ) can impose their beliefs on their employees ( surfs  ) if these people want to continue to make a living for their family’s they will abide by the will of their employer in the loss of their rights as citizens….

Do individuals trump Corporations

Gov. Deal as Crooked as they come

In April 2014, Stacey Kalberman, the former State Ethics Commission Director, won a $1 million total judgment in the whistleblower lawsuit she filed for being forced out of her job after investigating Nathan Deal’s 2010 campaign finances. Allegedly, Deal’s campaign paid $322,000 to companies that he or his associates owned or had an interest in. Specifically, the commission was investigating suspicious transactions such as:

  • A $90,000 payment to Southern Magnolia Capital, LLC, a fundraising company owned by Nathan Deal’s daughter-in-law Denise Deal. The company has no website or phone number listed.
  • A $6,000 payment to Creekside Consulting, owned by Richard Riley, Chief-of-Staff Chris Riley’s father. Deal’s campaign is Creekside’s only listed client.
  • A $135,000 payment for flights to North Georgia Aviation, a company co-owned by Deal.
Kalberman and former Ethics Commission Deputy Director Sherry Streicker planned to serve subpoenas in the case against Gov. Deal, but before they could, Kalberman was forced from her position with a 30 percent salary cut and Streicker’s job was cut altogether.
As the probe into his campaign finances was heating up, Gov. Deal’s team handpicked Kalberman’s replacement, appointing Holly LaBerge as the commission director. Two former high-ranking members of the Ethics Commission testified that LaBerge boasted that she“made the governor’s legal problems go away”and bragged that Gov. Deal “owes her.” Gov. Deal was later cleared of major ethics violations and his proposed fine of $70,000 was reduced to $3,350. LaBerge received a 17 percent pay raise.

Based on the evidence and sworn testimony given, the jury in Kalberman’s recent case swiftly determined that she was, in fact, wrongfully fired because she had probed into ethics violations related to Deal’s 2010 campaign. The jury awarded Kalberman $700,000 in damages and $300,000 in legal fees--payable by Georgia taxpayers.

VA under fire

  1. www.va.gov/health   Cached
The Veterans Health Administration is America’s largest integrated health care systemwith over 1,700 sites of care, serving 8.76 million Veterans each year.
Another reason why the VA is under fire, it is a socialized health system that works and until these words were spoken The Gop hammered it from behind the lines.
Now they try to take these debts owed to the American Service Man away one Dollar at a time while saying they ( we ) only want to help...

Wake Up people!!!!!!!!!!!
