The coast was beautiful and for this time of the year it was warm on the beach, Jj was seeing the ocean for the first time and managed to get his new shoes wet. Sharon and I really enjoyed the day one of those days when the air was soft and you could see for ever.
That after noon we had driven back to Savanna then walked from the hotel to the Lady and Sons Restaurant We had the buffet I was surprised that James and Lisa paid for the meal for us, the food was good. Leaving the restaurant we walked down to River Street planning to go on the Haunted tour around the city Street musicians were playing and lots of people walked throughout the area; the waterfront and Ships reminded me a little of Boston some of the places we visited seemed to have been locked in time.
The tour sucked and we resolved to cover some of the places visited the following day. After Breakfast we headed back to the old cemetery to walk among the monuments reading the final words and statements feeling a little of the soul of the place. that evening we headed back to Augusta to see the rest of the family. Continues tomorrow
