This Christmas time

          This weekend in the News Paper Was an article headed “Healthy for Georgia” the subheading was “Clinical trials have economic benefits” and after reading this piece I asked my self when has the moral standard of our Nation been set by the notion of wealth      

         When has spirituality been tied to wealth and even Christianity has become tied to the notion of the wealthy being first and foremost.

          The Good done by these Drug Companies noted in this piece is fact, but the idea that money/ greed is the only Driving Force that now prevails in our world Scratches at my Soul.             

Never take just my word for it

I Pledge Allegiance to Grover Norquist

       These are words that I saw today so I did a little checking; Finding that some members of our elected government have in fact done just this. They have sworn allegiance not to our nation but to a person out side our government. This is in spite of the oath of office taken when they were elected. (Is this Treason?)

Can these men serve two masters The United States of America or the Nation of Norquist.

        I suspect what they truly serve is at the alter of Greed, as the welfare of the USA comes in second or even last to the ever expanding wealth of a very few.   

        Operating Capital for our nation is to service the function of Government and in accordance with the preamble to the Constitution Of the United States of America; which states          

We the People  of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

         The operating capital to meet these noted requirements is obtained through Taxes. At this time the revenue from these taxes in relation to expenditures equals tax rates of the nineteen fifties.

          

           What is the vision of the future for the nation Norquist? Not just the defeat of a president of the wrong color!

                

Do you get the feeling that you are talking to your self

                        All of us want to make a difference in our society; we want our children to have a better life. We are not afraid to work hard whether it is digging a ditch or removing an appendix we need that chance to strive.

                       When we eat too much we get too fat. And if this continues the fat will kill us.

                        The warm feeling given to us by the mulled at wine at Christmas or getting drunk on New Years bring mostly good feelings but we Know that when we use alcohol in excess it will kill us.

                         Most good things taken to excess due to our addictions will kill us.

                         Any thing in excess be it sex or the pursuit of wealth if done in excess it will kill us

                         Leading an endeavor such as a corporation with all employees to success is a good thing.

                         In a nation of people Our Nation, laws of our nation protect all people mostly from each other and to provide equal justice. As is human nature the feeling that might makes right and the need to strive caused Things like Mill towns (a form of slavery) and the increase in inequality. A creation of a new form of aristocrat above the law         

                         This excess will kill us as a nation and we will cease to exist while cheering our new royalty.            

Occupy America for the rebirth of Democracy

The Bank bailouts in the US in fact used public money to pay off the out standing notes held by these banks for American property then proceeded to foreclose on the same properties. Even though the mortgages were now clear, the bail out moneys from our taxes covered not the American people but loses held by the banks for the fraudulently packaged and sold securities.
       The first item on the Occupy Wall street  list should be
           A. To reverse the Supreme Court decision to give Corporations the same rights as individuals that infer Citizen ship to corporations.
           B. Pass laws to limit the power of corporations to assign compensation packages to executives that exceed certain levels set by common sense.

 This is only the start.. MF          

The second American Revolution

The second American Revolution

   All that was written in the previous Blog has happened and it worked far better than hoped for by what ever evil entity perpetrated this crime on the United States of America.           

               Because the economies of our world are linked other Nations have gone completely under.

               What has been called the Arab Spring was not brought on by religion or ideology but by the vast wealth held by the few against the extreme poverty crushing the many. In ages past this was the normal way of most of the world, but when wide communication brought the plight of so many to light, the people of these so called third world nations demanded change and when that was not forthcoming they dumped their leaders looking for a more just form of society.

                 A Revolution, The revolution around the world and now in our nation has started; partly to address the widening canyon between the one percenters and the other ninety nine percent of the American people.

                   This American Revolution however is to address one other wrong done. The United States with it’s creation over through Plutocracy (rule by right of wealth) and Aristocracy (rule by right of birth) giving all men equal rights by law with the ability to choose one of their own to lead.

                    We as a nation have reverted to a Plutocracy and defacto Aristocracy with the very wealthy usurping the rights of the American people and that is what this current Revolution is all about.

                     The American dream is for all Americans to be upwardly mobile with the assurance that they count for more than the Dollars that they have.

The injustice is there, the question is how  can we correct it.

                               

Add to this,,, let's see what we have

If a nation set out to destroy it’s self the plan would go something like this.

A.      Get rid of any surplus money from the budget.

1.    Cut revenues, (reduce the income) of the US.

a. Lower the tax rate then cut taxes on the upper 1% of population

2.    Further reduce the nations income and at the same time limit the ability of the American labor force to find work

a.     Encourage American industry to relocate off shore to limit taxes returned back to the nation     

b.     With out viable income the revenues from Taxes paid by American labor further weakens the US

B.      Using an enemy, a force  created to fight a proxy war, 

       (The cold war Afghanistan against the USSR) instigate an   

       Attack on the nation’s soil.

C.      Start two wars on third parties unrelated to the attacking

Force and to assure the further destruction of the nation’s economy fund these wars on bowered money using Securities sold through the world.

1.    Securities with out any solid Value.

2.     Fraud committed to assign an AAA rating to these junk securities.

3.     Block any and All measures to correct the massive Damage to the said Nation.

Sound like something we have seen…

In our nation these things have happened, not because of some sinister plot but so a few of us can feed the beast of Greed. Vast amounts of Money have been made as though that wealth can bring life everlasting……           

       

            

Stand up and pull the plug on B.S.

Dare we say this?

        Now we clearly have an opposition party mode of operation on going in our nation. Before this area we had a two party system but it appeared that both parties pulled together for the common good.

        This is no longer the case. The notion is that there is no common good only the haves and have-nots, or us and them. Not just a two party nation but a TWO people nation. Divide and Conquer worked for the Right Wing of this two party system, to well.

        When you pit one side against the other in a social system, and then block any effort to correct any fundamental short comings in that social system the split between these sides become wider and harder to over come.

         The perpetrators of the Dived and Conquer stratagem find that they no longer control their creation.

         Unless the object is the destruction of our nation altogether and the rise to power of these few perpetrators?

         History shows this has happened several times before.                

How many United States of America are there

How many United States of America are there, To me it seems that some of our more affluent citizens feel that their position in our society bestows a higher rank of Citizenship to them.
        This attitude is not new to our country in the Election of 1800 an effort was made to stop the common man from voting going so far in trying to block Statehood for Tennessee. The Good people ( wealthy people ) for who knows what reason, believed that if these poor dirty grubbing back woodsmen could vote that would lead a revolution like the one that had happened in France a little earlier. The difference between the wealthy and the vast majority of Americans was about the same ratio as the have and have knots of today. 
         Taxing people in accordance with his or her ability to pay was the premise behind the progressive income  tax system that the twentieth century relied on to make Our country first in all things
         The Vast Majority of our people have made it possible for the wealthy to be what they are for with out this nation of workers their wealth would not exist and sadly they Know this.
          We are one nation and I believe this is what some of our people do not want  The nature of human beings is to say I will fight for what is mine.   The nature for mankind is say I will fight for what is ours
Think about this please!!!!!!!!!!       

Open our eyes now while we can

We need to survive as a people ( A Nation )

Last night an effort was launched to provided a life line for the people of the United States of America and immediately plans were put in motion to block this life line.

These plans to block this life line are not being made to protect the People of our nation but to stop any effort that might succeed.

Under the guise of patriots are a group of people who wish to dismantle The United States in it's current form and reassemble it in the image put forward by a young immigrant Alise Zinov'yevna Rosenbaum ( Ann Rand ) who came from Russia and made The US her home in 1926.

The philosophy she created was called Objectivism and is the bases for John Birch Society, The Libertarian party and the TEA party. It is a wonderful concept but someone has to do the work and businesses have never been noted for putting people before profits. Commerce with out restriction opens the door for uncontrolled fraud ( barely addressed now ) and products we as a moral society would like to see controlled sold on the open market.

And finally this current President; because long existing ideas held by some people, a lot of people in our nation is an aberration and should be removed at all cost including the destruction of the economy of America

   There is another word for a nation run by Business, Oligarchy as the people all of the people far out number corporations this gives total control to a small group. The arguments have been that corporations are made up of people but corporations have only one reason to exist and that is for profit.

Up and running After crash,, Are our Notions killing our kids

Hyper-potassium, (hyperkalemia) seems to have been to cause of death in a (rash) number of young foot ball players  and for some reason most medical types are slow to address this... Most sports drinks have little or no sodium in them as that is part of common salt and in the normal world this is fine but where extrema stress is involved where hyperhermia  is an  issue most Sodium is dumped in sweat while the body retains Potassium.
Could it be that the notion that all Sodium Chloride is bad over shadows the medical view......

a nation of people

   The cry has gone up “Unleash the private sector” to correct our floundering economy, and all I could think of was Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

   We gave the private sector the go ahead and they stole the American people blind, even betting (through derivatives) that they would screw up.

   Through the misguided idea that a nation like a business should never use it’s capital but borrowed money for day to day activities. And to create that vast amount of borrowed cash our private sector started bundling mortgages and selling these little packets of the US as securities (collateral for loans).

    In 2003 American jobs were disappearing at an astounding rate while the Congress and President passed laws giving tax breaks to American corporations if they would move off shore. Home foreclosures started to mount.

     The American private sector (corporations) still made money hand over fist so from their point of view we were not in a financial bind

      This vast amount of money that flowed up hill from American home owner; the failing mortgages started to falter finally rendering these securities as trash, entire nations had bought these things for trillions of Dollars and using this new wealth they had spent like drunken sailors, all on credit they are still going down.

       The Private sector started to go under, (greed is a force that lives in all of us and with out over site we can act like a drunken Mob). The public sector our people through our Government paid the gambling losses of the private sector If we give total power to the private sector (Corporations) we will cease to exist as a notion, for the only reason for any corporation to exist is to make money, but some how these machines have been given the rights of Men and woman of our nation and deemed too big to fail.

Do not allow our nation to fail keep the power out of the hands of the private sector

              Our Country has become a strange place where some thing called Objectivism, a creation of a novelist who felt selfish behavier in people should be considered a virtue contrary to the Christian beliefs has become the guide for the new right. Then again this concept was the basis for the fascism of the Twenty century and the current creep toward a national Oligarchy

Our place in History

         Seventy years in the Twentieth Century saw the rise of a great Nation, Our Nation,, Supplying the World to defeat The forces of self Arrogance for what else can we call the cult of fascism; Where a nation of people pledges allegiance to a leader instead of established law. We went to space, put a man on the moon and defeated The USSR as a threat to Free enterprise.
         In spite of the fact that we as a nation at the end of that century had finely balanced our budget and should have paid off our national Debt by our current time, we are told that we are broke.
         We have been raped as a nation by the greed of a few.          

History,,,,, think about this please

            At the end of the nineteenth century the church (Christianity) was the refuge of  the common man, the poor, the down trodden as that was all there was for support to their lives. The average man was a virtual slave to industry.
            Mining companies maintained towns these companies printed their own money to be spent in supplied stores in these towns with commodities for living, needed by these workers at prices far above what the market would have set. Steel towns were the same.This happened in both the north and the south.
             Men weather they were Black or White stood up to this type of Slavery in the only way they had, they stood up as a group and said stop we are Americans too and own the rights granted to us by this country.
             These Companies were really defacto kingdoms and seeing a revolt of workers (employees ) in some cases brought an armed response. The workers formed (collectives) Unions with legal representation  for mutual protection and a way to fight for them selves both in Court and on the streets   
             Finely after years of battle it was acknowledged that under the law of the land the people of our nation could not be made indentured workers (slaves) ever again.
            However in the last few years Greed has taken the upper hand again. The Church now backs the wealthy as they Profess to be true Christians who would not share the fish or the bread as some how god gave it only to them.
            Much like the companies of old however now our courts have given the rights of the individuals  (people) to entities called Corporations in the premise that these corporations as collectives warrant the same rights individuates.
Some thing else to think on.  Can a union also incorporate?

The death of the US By the New Right

        Collectivism is enemy of the American people so says the tea party; However they are not the first ones to say this.
        In 1958 the John Birch Society ( JBS ) was formed by Robert Welch from Belmont Massachusetts this was with Fred G Koch, (the father of Charles and David Koch)
       This group does not believe in democracy because it is a form of Collectivism where the majority rules, ( in our Society the rights of the individual are preserved  by the laws approved  again by the majority ) our constitution requires that our nation promote the common good of all our citizens (a requirement of law) by this document.
       After a while even William F Buckley denied the JBS,,, as it was leading the nation toward Fascism.
       The parallels between the JBS and the tea party go far beyond coincidences; Charles and David Koch ( pronounced Coke) have managed to supply millions of Dollars to the tea party in fact they can take credit for founding The Tea party. Following the guide lines laid down by their father for the founding of the JBS a generation earlier.                          

With age comes wisdom ??

           In my last blog I spoke of a trip we had taken to try and find our way in life. At that point I wasn't sure where I was going with regard to this cancer and how we were to survive.But it was the dead of winter with storms marching across the country And here we were setting out on this mad dash across the US
           Today Sharon and I were to be on the road on our way to visit Aja our Granddaughter in Ohio and it seems that a little snow has stymied us. I rationalize that that I don't want to put our car at risk or we can't do the drive in one day or that the weather is bad. So what is Wisdom; reacting to fear, or understanding the possibility of failure. Could be the understanding of consequences of ones actions.
            However a person can lock their selves into a state of never moving a step from their doors.
         
           Mike and Twana welcomed us with open arms Allana and Alexis became the bright spots in our lives and I felt that nothing could go wrong ever again, I had some good days and some not so good I signed at the VA as we no longer had money for insurance They took me to the oncology unit right a way and started assigning test to be done over the next couple of months. On the up side I started to make plans to go back to School.. I had managed my Cancer treatments and according to my doctors I had done a good job; what was needed by the system were more doctor's assistants. So I went to the State signed papers took some tests, scheduled classes and felt that life was good.I was to be a Physicians Assistant.
           Loma Linda (The VA hospital) Started blood tests and did a PET scan (positron emission tomography scan) over a matter of weeks and on one occasion Twana drove me in for one of my bad days She had a cold and was miserable her self .
           Sharon and I started to look for a place to live I could get a subsidy from the state of California through unemployment as I would be going to school under a government plan I felt like I was taking my life back   We were some where near Paris California having just looked a house in a junk yard. (Brought a laugh) The cell phone rang, The call was from the hospital giving me the news that the cancer was back and I was short term terminal.               


          
                

How we beat Cancer

Sharon and I have made plans over the years some good and a lot not so good. That said we go on with this story;
               By the end of the week, (the middle of January 2001) I was driving a truck loaded with our stuff while Sharon piloted the car on our way to California. I was a week out of the hospital and for the first time in some months feeling good physically and in spirit. There had been times in the last year when I felt like I was hanging on by my finger tips now I could do anything. (HaHa) We were on highway 40 on a route that has some of the worst weather in the Country along it, We were going to our Son's house in sunny California so what could go wrong. We would stop at Barry's house in Midland Texas All would be good and it was. Until we got to Albuquerque New Mexico I tried to go under a sign ( portico ) at a gas station barking (Scraping) the top of the truck and Sharon got sick we had to stop for a couple of days to rest even so  She did not feel better until after we left, later realizing She had altitude sickness.
               We rolled on in to California dropping on to interstate 15 from I 40 With My wife leading the way/ I would go back to School and build a life again for Sharon and I, All would be good for us.
                I hadn't been in this part of the country since the sixties seeing the country side I think helped with my good feelings some how opening that page of my life in my mind back to a time when we were first Married.        

On we go

            The coast was beautiful and for this time of the year it was warm on the beach, Jj was seeing the ocean for the first time and managed to get his new shoes wet. Sharon and I really enjoyed the day one of those days when the air was soft and you could see for ever.
            That after noon we had driven back to Savanna then walked from the hotel to the Lady and Sons Restaurant We had the buffet I was surprised that James and Lisa paid for the meal for us, the food was good. Leaving the restaurant we walked down to River Street planning to go on the Haunted tour around the city Street musicians were playing and lots of people walked throughout the area; the waterfront and Ships reminded me a little of Boston some of the places we visited seemed to have been locked in time.
            The tour sucked and we resolved to cover some of the places visited the following day. After Breakfast we headed back to the old cemetery to walk among the monuments reading the final words and statements feeling a little of the soul of the place. that evening we headed back to Augusta to see the rest of the family.
